August Theme:      We His Servants will ARISE and Build

Nehemiah 2:20 (AMP)

I answered them, The God of heaven will prosper us;

therefore we His servants will arise and build

but you have no portion or right or memorial in Jerusalem.

In the natural this is a season when we transition from summer into autumn. It is a natural representation of what God is doing in the realm of the spirit. God is able and WILL shift us as a local assemble into the next season.

God is committed to His word. That same God is committed to us. So this month we are going to arise and participate in the miraculous work God is doing. As we arise and build, may it be unto us just like it happened in the days of Nehemiah. In Jesus’ name! Our meditations and prayers will focus on the word ARISE

As we arise to build may we see the following manifest in us. Declare each one and walk in it!

  • Leaders rising up
  • Everyone working
  • Great team spirit.
  • Facing opposition and remaining focused
  • Not being distracted by anything
  • Digging deeper
  • Finishing in record time
  • Building a healthy community.

Read the book of Nehemiah and study these scriptures.

Charge your spirit, soul and body to ARISE!

7 The villages were unoccupied and rulers ceased in Israel until you arose—you, Deborah, arose—a mother in Israel.

Matthew 9:6 (AMP)
But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins andremit the penalty, He then said to the paralyzed man, Get up! Pick up your sleeping pad and go to your own house.

Why must we arise?

Who is commanding us?

Genesis 13:17 (AMP)
17 Arise, walk through the land, the length of it and the breadth of it, for I will give it to you.

Joshua 1:2 (AMP)

2 Moses My servant is dead. So now arise [take his place], go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land which I am giving to them, the Israelites.

1 Kings 17:9 (AMP)
Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.

1 Chronicles 22:18-19 (NKJV)
18  "Isnot the LORDyour God with you? And has He notgiven you rest on every side? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the LORDand before His people.
19  Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORDyour God. Therefore arise and build the sanctuary of the LORDGod, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORDand the holy articles of God into the house that is to be built for the name of the LORD."

Isaiah 21:5-6 (NKJV)

Esther 4:13-14 (NKJV)

13 And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: "Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. 14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"

Isaiah 60:1 (AMP)

1 ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

1 Samuel 23:4 (NKJV)

4 Then David inquired of the LORD once again. And the LORD answered him and said, "Arise, go down to Keilah. For I will deliver the Philistines into your hand."

What hinders me from arising?

What are the various ‘arises’ over my life?

What deliverances am I arising for?

What’s been happening while I’ve been laying low?

Am I up or down?

Psalm 12:5-7 (AMP)
Now will I arise, says the Lord, because the poor are oppressed, because of the groans of the needy; I will set him in safety andin the salvation for which he pants.  The words andpromises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over.  You will keep them and preserve them, O Lord; You will guard andkeep us from this [evil] generation forever.

1 Kings 19:5-8 (NKJV)

5 Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, "Arise and eat." 6 Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. 7 And the angel of the LORD came back the second time, and touched him, and said, "Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you." 8 So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.

2 Kings 7:3-8 (AMP)
Now four men who were lepers were at the entrance of the city's gate; and they said to one another, Why do we sit here until we die?  If we say, We will enter the city—then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there; and if we sit still here, we die also. So now come, let us go over to the army of the Syrians. If they spare us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.  So they arose in the twilight and went to the Syrian camp. But when they came to the edge of the camp, no man was there.  For the Lord had made the Syrian army hear a noise of chariots and horses, the noise of a great army. They had said to one another, The king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to come upon us.  So the Syrians arose and fled in the twilight and left their tents, horses, donkeys, even the camp as it was, and fled for their lives.  And when these lepers came to the edge of the camp, they went into one tent and ate and drank, and carried away silver, gold, and clothing, and went and hid them [in the darkness]. Then they entered another tent and carried from there also and went and hid it.

Judges 18:8-10 (AMP)

8 The five men came back to their brethren at Zorah and Eshtaol, and their brethren said to them, What do you say? 9 They said, Arise, let us go up against them, for we have seen the land, and behold, it is very fertile. And will you do nothing? Do not be slow to go and enter in and possess the land. 10 When you go, you will come to people [feeling] safe and secure. The land is broad [widely extended on all sides]; and God has given it into your hands—a place where there is no want of anything that is in the earth.

Why does God arise? Why must I arise?

HOW do I arise?

What miracles do you see God doing as you arise?

Do you see any good worth arising for? What is it?

Deuteronomy 31:7 (AMP)
And Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong, courageous, andfirm, for you shall go with this people into the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to possess it.

2 Kings 5:13-14 (NKJV)

13 And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, "My father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, 'Wash, and be clean'?"

14 So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Ezra 1:5-6 (NKJV)

5 Then the heads of the fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, with all whose spirits God had moved, arose to go up and build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

6 And all those who were around them encouraged them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.

Micah 6:1 (AMP)

1 HEAR NOW what the Lord says: Arise, contend and plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice.

Ezekiel 2:1-2 (AMP)

1 AND HE said to me [Ezekiel], Son of man, stand upon your feet and I will speak to you.

2 And the Spirit entered into me when He spoke to me and set me upon my feet, and I heard Him speaking to me.

1 Samuel 30:8-9 (AMP)

8 And David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? The Lord answered him, Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.

9 So David went, he and the 600 men with him, and came to the brook Besor; there those remained who were left behind.

Am I afraid to arise

What will get me to arise?

Is my heart moved? Am I passionate to build the house of the Lord? Holy Spirit move my heart!

Utter a prophetic pronouncement concerning arising
