House of Worship supports Moveable Feast, a nonprofit organization located in Baltimore City that supplies home delivered nutritional meals for homebound clients with HIV/Aids and women affected by breast cancer. They also provide delivered meals for those who are not fully homebound but are physically unable to return to work or grocery shop for themself. Areas in Maryland served by Moveable Feast are Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore Co., Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Dorchester, Harford, Howard, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Talbot, Wicomico, Worchester and Somerset Counties. What an incredible opportunity to impact people all over the state of MD! House of Worship volunteers at the Baltimore facility on the 1st Saturday of every month preparing and packaging meals for delivery.

Our church, lead by our outreach & evangelism team, provides spiritual nurturing and resources to meet the practical daily needs of the persons residing in the Park Heights community. On the 1st Saturday of every month, armed with the Word of God, the love of Christ, clothes, and toiletries, we head out to Park Heights with the goal of being Lifegivers who spread faith and hope throughout the community.

House of Worship serves our community by volunteering through the Baltimore County Dept. of Public Works, Adopt-A- Road program. We remove litter and recyclables along a designated County right of way to improve the appearance of the county in which we reside. Our volunteering efforts also decrease the amount of debris that washes into the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries thus helping to protect our environment. This is one practical way of being relevant and making a difference in our society. We do this not just as a physical exercise, but also as a spiritual exercise. As we clean, we pray. As we remove physical litter, we also remove spiritual litter and bless our land.

House of Worship partners with Garlock Ministries in support of The Zimbabwe Orphan Project. We have committed to raise funds to provide the school fees for 105 orphans living in a remote area of the Masvingo Province to attend the Hamandishe School. The children are receiving a quality education, becoming empowered, and most importantly are being introduced to God as their Source, and Jesus as their Lord and Savior through this Mission effort.

We have adopted the Salem Orphanage and Medical Outreach to support their efforts to meet the dire needs of the people in the northern part of Nigeria. It was started from a small hut with very basic medical equipment and furniture. Today it is a medical unit with an inpatient ward, laboratory, operating room and dialysis unit. As priority the following are desperately needed: hospital furniture, diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines, ultra -sound equipment and consumables for the laboratory such as sero diagnostic strips and dipsticks. Our efforts include securing equipment, volunteering and providing general support to the center.
