The Teen Ministry at House of Worship is based on Proverbs 22:6, “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it” .The primary purpose of the Teen Ministry is to introduce young people to Christ and then empower them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. We disciple them in spiritual growth, train them to serve Christ with their lives, and assist their parents/guardians in raising their teenagers into wholesome mature Christians. Our team consists of energetic, mature Christians who have a heart to see young people live for God. So if you are a teen, are a teen at heart or have a heart for teens, then come join us!
Every one of us needs some extra love and encouragement, especially when we go through tough times. The pastoral care ministry provides one-on-one support & care to House of Worship partners and attendees. If you need prayer, support or encouragement, the pastoral care team is here for you!
We come from far and near, and our growth groups provide opportunity for HOW partners and attendees to have fellowship with one another during the week, and also to serve the community through involvement in local projects. There are currently groups in Baltimore County (Owings Mills, Catonsville) Howard County, Frederick County, Anne Arundel County and Harford County.
The goal of the marriage program is to create environments that will strengthen, encourage, train and instruct men and women seeking God’s best for marriage. We accomplish this goal by organizing classes, seminars, retreats, fun times and counseling sessions for couples and singles.
MAN TO MAN
Man2Man is the name of the Men's Ministry at House of Worship. Our goal is to equip men to be spiritual leaders in their families, communities and nations. Women are seen as being relational, but men are very relational too! It is only when men relate to other men that we feel comfortable asking for help, prayer and accountability. Proverbs 27:17 ASV Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. So we sharpen one through formal and informal meetings & activities, and serve actively in the church. Pastor Fiifi also works hard to stay connected to each of us on an individual level. If you want to be a man of God and make a real difference in your family and world, then connect with us in Man2Man!
TITUS 2 WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Welcome to Titus 2 Women’s Ministry! Our mission is to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women. We offer spiritual guidance, model biblical principles, offer encouragement and lend a helping hand where needed. Our body of women provides a safe and nurturing environment to develop an intimate relationship with Christ, grow in our faith, and manifest our gifts to fulfill our purpose. Titus 2:3 says “the older women likewise that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things - that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chase, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may be blasphemed.” It is our intent to edify and transform the lives of women by setting godly examples, and valuing our roles in the home, workplace, church, and community through the pursuit of truth taught in the Word of God.
We emphasize the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships with our sisters in Christ. Quarterly, we plan a time of fun, relaxation, sharing, and fellowship. Our “Girls Night Out” is a special and exciting time of bonding and enjoyment. As we grow in the knowledge and love of Christ, we make lasting impacts on the lives of every woman we encounter. We are women walking in the Word, working together to build strong foundations, awakening the beauty within, and impacting the Kingdom of God in a powerful way.
